Healing Techniques
The following Spiritual Healing techniques are approved by the Federation and may be practiced as part of your spiritual healing practice under your AIM Spiritual Healer License. If you perform some Spiritual Healing Technique or modality not listed here, please contact the AIM Temple Licensing Board privately.
Anointing may be done with water, wine, vinegar, vegetable, fruit or essential oils of any kind. Anointing may be accompanied with cleansing, laying on Hands , meditation, prayer or any sacrament approved by the Spiritual healer's Church, Fellowship or Temple. Washing hands, feet or face is a specialized form of anointing. All Spiritual applications of anointing may be used including the following anointing techniques:

Inner Spiritual Working is personal work individuals do to resolve Spiritual trauma from past lives, between lives, birth, early childhood, childhood, adolescence and adulthood. This trauma may be expressed on any combination of the physical, emotional, mental, psychological, intuitive and Spiritual levels of our being. Spiritual healers may teach clients how to use these techniques and may assist them in doing this work. Other Spiritual Healing Techniques - Any Healing Technique may be applied for a Spiritual purpose. The intention of the client and Spiritual healer is what determines if a Technique is being used in a Spiritual manner or not including the following interventions and techniques:

NOTE 1: AromaTherapy used for Spiritual Healing is permitted. Those Spiritual healers using aromatherapy as one of their Healing techniques must become certified and maintain certification as an aromatherpist. Spiritual healers may use aromatherapy as a Spiritual Healing Technique only so long as they remain certified as an aromatherapist.
NOTE 2: Acupressure used for Spiritual Healing is permitted. Those Spiritual healers using acupressure as one of their Healing techniques must become certified and maintain certification as an acupressurist. Spiritual healers may use acupressure as a Spiritual Healing Technique only so long as they remain certified as an acupressurist.
NOTE 3: Reflexology used for Spiritual Healing is permitted. Those Spiritual healers using Reflexology as one of their Healing techniques must become certified and maintain certification as a reflexologist. Spiritual healers may use Reflexology as a Spiritual Healing Technique only so long as they remain certified as a reflexologist.
NOTE 4: Audio, Visual and Audio-Visual Entrainment, Light, Sound and CES Therapy, Biofeedback, Bioenergetics, Biofrequency, Bioresonance, and Neurofeedback Therapy used for Spiritual Healing is permitted. Those Spiritual healers using one or more of these techniques as one of their Healing techniques must become certified and maintain certification as a biofeedback therapist or neurotherapist. Spiritual healers may use any of these techniques as Spiritual Healing techniques only so long as they remain so certified.
NOTE 5: Colon Hydrotherapy, Herbology and Herbalism used for Spiritual Healing is permitted. Those Spiritual healers using these techniques as one of their Healing techniques must become certified and maintain this certification as a colon hydrotherpist, herbologist or herbalist. Spiritual healers may use and of the these techniques as a Spiritual Healing Technique only so long as they remain so certified.
NOTE 6: Homeopathy, Naturopathy and Nutrition used for Spiritual Healing is permitted. Those Spiritual healers using these techniques as one of their Healing techniques must become certified and maintain this certification as an homeopath, naturopath or nutritionist. Spiritual healers may use these techniques as a Spiritual Healing Technique only so long as they remain so certified.
NOTE 7: While several different tuning fork therapies have been in wide use for at least 30 years, and the Federation considers them all valid spiritual interventions, Ms. Francine M. Milford of Venice, Florida owns a trademark for the term "Tuning Fork Therapy" effective January 2, 2002 as registered on May 24, 2005. The use of the term "Tuning Fork Therapy" for any technology developed since January 2, 2002 is not permitted.
Ms. Milford demands that her form of Tuning Fork Therapy not be used for spiritual purposes. The Federation therefore recommends that Ms. Milford's students find another and different tuning fork therapy for spiritual healing such as: 1. Christ-centered Tuning Fork Therapy (Alliance of Christian Healers), 2. Buddhist Tuning Fork Therapies (Tau Temple), 3. Essene Tuning Fork Therapy (Modern Essenes) and 4. Quantum Tuning Fork Therapy (Quantum Healing Hands).
